For reasons that we (nor any other bloggers on the tubes) are not privy to (though speculation is rampant), Our Mr. Olbermann will not be going to to Minnesota this week. He’ll be doing his anchor bit from 30 Rock. I wondered if this merited a masthead change, but figured hey. I done made it already.

Whether you’re watching the Elephant Party get down with its bad self or not, feel free to talk amongst yourselves.

It’s the final hurrah from Denver! An historic presidential candidate formally accepts his party’s nomination on a night and in a place with no small significance. I have my box of Kleenex handy, do you?

The theme tonight is predictably “Change You Can Believe In” and the featured speaker is, of course, the Next President of the United States, the Junior Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama.

It’s Veep nomination night at the Pepsi Center!
