I must admit, I didn’t tune in MSNBC at all last night. That I found it infinitely less painful to watch my beloved Cubs lose their fourth in a row during a pennant run than to sit through Joementum and Old Uncle Fred should tell you something (though I’m not really sure what). Were I wearing a hat I would doff it to the brave souls among you who will be tuning in to Governor Palin’s speech tonight.
Talk amongst yourselves.

For reasons that we (nor any other bloggers on the tubes) are not privy to (though speculation is rampant), Our Mr. Olbermann will not be going to to Minnesota this week. He’ll be doing his anchor bit from 30 Rock. I wondered if this merited a masthead change, but figured hey. I done made it already.
It’s the final hurrah from Denver! An historic presidential candidate formally accepts his party’s nomination on a night and in a place with no small significance. I have my box of Kleenex handy, do you?
