From a comment at Daily Kos: “KO had to sit beside Elizabeth Hasselbeck. She looked terrified. It was priceless.”
I’ll update with an embedded video if one becomes available.
(Just a personal aside here… Goddamn that is one hot mess of a program!)

I do not remember Keith announcing that he was going to be on The View, but there they were with footage of him, announcing it before throwing his wadded up script at the glass of the camera lens. I know that I was working Friday night and had to record Countdown and watched it on Sunday, but I never saw that.
I must say that my wisdom in working nights and sleeping through the am, thus avoiding daytime television, has been reaffirmed.
I am not certain which was more alarming, the chatter at the start of the show or all the ads for feminine hygiene and birth control. (I was rather taken with the Fisher Price doll house and want one.)
I seem to have become inured to the ads for erectile dysfunction and male urinary problems that appear on MSNBC. Leading me to wonder if now that Rachel has a show, the female version of these ads will start to appear.
I was startled by Keith’s assertion that he does not vote, as I was certain that at the start of the Election Night coverage he had commented on having done so.
And, while I know that it is not nice to comment on people’s physical characteristics, either those women are all really, really short, or someone gave Keith a booster seat as a joke.
Perhaps because I am a KO fan, but I found his segment well done and entertaining.

I was hoping against reason that there might be some KO-Hasselbeck smackdown, but save the absence of that, it was good!
And about the height thing, I happened to see him when I was last in NYC, and it’s neither - he is imposing.

Barbara, SHUT UP!!!
Sorry, had to get that out. She wants to think she’s some cute little coquette but she needs to ax that part of her act. Blech!
I think KO could squash me…

I’ve heard Keith say he doesn’t vote before. He doesn’t vote so he can remain objective.
That’s… … rich.
(I’ll probably get into trouble for saying this, but I have a problem with people who complain about the state of the government and then don’t vote. It’s like you’re contributing to the problem by doing nothing. Sins of omission, y’know?)

You think Elisabeth Hasselbeck was talking with Keith about her brother-in-law’s recent injuries during breaks in the taping?

Boy, KO truly is an ENORMOUS person. He was a another whole body bigger than the ladies! Double their size. Wow!

Houstonian, now I understand why Letterman is always mentioning how enormours Keith is.
He looked like me teaching kindergarden Sunday School.

I happened to be off work that day and watched the View in full for the first time. Whoopi seems to be the only one who is sane. Had Keith made the two women he sat between WPITW at one point? Anyway, it seems surreal, I too am annoyed about the voting thing, but his smack down for the “you’re ruining my football with politics” question was very good. I also liked his response to Barbara about it not being single news-source days of 1973 anymore—snarky, but so true! I think he did pretty darn good for the barrage of voices pelting him from every direction.
As for his size, in a recent Gail S. piece for TVNewser, he mentioned he does Yoga and works out 3X a week, I have a feeling that started about a week ago! ;) (Getting started is the hardest thing to do, good luck, Keith!)
