It was so good to have Keith back, and with all my fixation on the Olympics, it seemed as if he had been MIA for weeks instead of only a few days. Due to no early afternoon MSNBC news, I have tired CNN a few times, and it is appalling. I knew that Fox "News" was bad, but the level of ignorance on the part of so many talking heads made me cringe for the future of this country if this is where so many citizens are getting their supposed news and analysis. Those of us who regularly follow Countdown are fortunate in our choice. The CNN crew make Chris Matthews sound like a Rhodes scholar.
