Pitchers and catchers begin reporting today, so what better time to announce a league of our own?
Sign ups are now open to readers of Either Relevant or True and Palaver for the Tertiary Syphilis League at Yahoo. (Yes. Tertiary syphilis.) This isn’t a cutthroat game for the Sabermetrics crowd, so don’t be scared off if you’ve never played before. What better way to dip your toes into fantasy baseball than with people you’re familiar with?
Our draft will be on March 15, so get your team in before then. If you have any questions or better yet, are ready to sign up, comment below or drop me a note!

I’m still tweaking the settings, but it’s currently set for an auto-draft (you can set your preferred players on auto, btw). If enough players would rather go with a live draft, that can be arranged.

Becky, I have never done the fantasy baseball stuff, but I am interested. Would it be a burden for more experienced players to have a complete novice participate? I don’t want to be a drag on the game.

GM, I’ve never played before either - and I’m the league commissioner!
One of the reasons I wanted to do this is that I’ve always been too chickenshit to join a public league. And really, beyond choosing your players, the software does most of the work.
